That's a wrap on 2014!

Getting my "Decision" on.
Another year in the books. And what a year at that.

I can recall, like it was yesterday, writing my 2013 wrap-up. Can you believe another 365 days have passed? It's ridiculous, especially since I hardly had a rollercoaster year.

Basically what I did was work, learn AdWords and Google Analytics, pull the trigger on a Celtics tattooget completely lost in the World Cup for a month,  and walk my dog.

Oh, and I also squeezed in a trip to London and a sunny chillcation in Turkey with my family.

It wasn't until Q4 that my year became bumpy.

In October I first of all lost my grandfather. He was my godfather and the toughest 87-year-old I knew, and his unexpected passing struck pretty hard. Not a day passes that I don't think how upbeat he was the last time I saw him and how I should have visited him more often. I looked up to him so much.

I also faced a tough decision professionally. When my favorite weekly Humo came knocking with an interesting offer to join their digital department, my heart and my mind were at war for a good 10 days. In the end I decided to stay put at Queromedia, where a Project Manager job with my name on it tipped the scale.

Unfinished business and all that.

Resolutions for 2015

Finding my own place to live. Buckling down at work. Learning more about SEO and Wordpress. Writing fun blog posts for you guys to keep flocking to. Those are more or less my resolutions for 2015.

I will also be gunning like a madman for my 40-book target. In 2014 I fell short again, reading 34, but I feel confident that with a tighter game plan I can get to the promised land. I have a bunch of titles lined up already and I can't wait to start!

Lastly I want to make a dedicated effort to spend more time on pet projects. I have a bunch of ideas for Piraat Opa comics, a website, and artwork, and I want to very much see them through.

What are your resolutions for 2015?

Enjoy the new year everybody, be safe, and make sure to check out my blog's top performers from 2014:
