Maximum fruitio!
I don't know if my parents would be proud or completely, utterly and entirely disappointed that they raised such a dork.

Please allow me to clarify.

My parents are on a vacation this week. There is no parental supervision whatsoever. I could literally do anything. Heck, if it weren't for large crowds giving me panic attacks and my love for peace and quiet, I could go Project X in this bitch. But I don't really care for all that.

What my siblings and I have been up to?

Well, we've been having a bombarda blast watching all the wonderful Harry Potter movies. I am a loud and proud Potterhead for almost 16 years now (My Mom gave me Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for Christmas in '98) and it never ceases to amaze me how complete and intricate the PotterVerse actually is, and how much J.K. Rowling is a genius for dreaming it all up.

[By the way, I can't believe it has already been three years since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 came out. Only two and a half more years until Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them hits theatres!]

I'm not embarrassed to admit that I reallly got into the whole Harry Potter thing. Me and my bro J. Braeckmans Jarco B. in fact did the whole nine yards.

Making wands? Check.

Playing Quidditch? Check.

Hogwarts role playing? Check.

Oh God why meme

So what if I didn't have a girlfriend until I was 18 years old? Playing with my wand was the right choice. So jot that down.

Watching the movies again confirmed three things for me: the first being that the Harry Potter series is timeless, the second being that nothing will ever compare (I'm talking  directly to you, bratty Lord of the Rings girl in second year of high school!), and the third being that my kids will be forced to read all seven books and watch all eight movies.

I wouldn't love them if they didn't.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
