At Disneyland earlier this month |
I still remember the collective holding of breath those jokester Mayas had caused last December.
From the yeoman effort it took juggling arduous group assignments in three diffferent years to passing all my exams to having a perfect, carefree summer with my girlfriend to being able to have done two wonderful internships, 2013 was quite a year for me.
And 2014 promises to be even more amazing.
I will no longer be a student, for starters, as I will officially start working as a copywriter at digital marketing firm Queromedia on January 2. Back when I was toiling away at the University of Antwerp, and my NBA career wasn't going anywhere, I oftentimes thought that my future career would be either selling beads or testing meds. I'm glad that turned out otherwise.
Resolutions for 2014
Other than working hard, improving my copywriting skills, and mastering Google Adwords & Google Analytics, I don't have any spectacular resolutions for 2014.
I will definitely try to read more. I had a nice pace going earlier in the year, but I did not reach my self-imposed target of 40 books, falling shamefully short at 28.
A lot of attention will go to my blog, too. It is my goal to at least maintain and perhaps expand my activity of 10-14 posts per month.
I also intend to save up, make more time for my friends, and take things as they come. I get too worked up too often and plan not to let that happen anymore.
What are your resolutions for 2014?
