The ANAR Foundation and the lenticular ad

The Spanish foundation Aid to Children and Adolescents at Risk (ANAR) recently partnered with Grey to raise awareness for their hotline service. The abribus ad uses a lenticular top layer to simultaneously display different messages for kids and adults.

Adults (or at least people that are taller than 4-foot-5) will see: Sometimes, child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it. Kids will see bruises on the boy's face, as well as the message: If somebody hurts you, phone us and we'll help you. The lenticular technology allows ANAR to reach out to kids without addressing the aggressor who is possibly accompanying them.

I applaud Grey Spain for their abribus creativity and I hope that it will reach kids who need help, but I fear that less noble organizations will now begin to exploit the lenticular technique.
